Travis Leslie SG/SF
21 years old, Junior
6’4′ 205 lbs
2011 stats: 14.4 ppg, 2.9 apg, 7.2 rpg, 49% FG, 30% 3pt FG, 80% FT
Prediction: Late first round to early second
Strengths: He’s the best athlete in this draft. Bottom Line. He is at his best in an open court, up and down type of game. Is a very good rebounder for a player his size as you see above he grabs seven per game. He pulls in a little over three offensive boards a game. He reminds me of a smaller poor mans Andre Iguodala. Is a lockdown defender and should be a defensive specialist at the next level.
Weaknesses: Needs to work on his outside shot, shooting 30% from the college three isn’t going to cut it for a player his size. Teams will lay off of him in the NBA until he develops range and accuracy on his jumper. His ball handling skills are poor for a guard, he can’t be counted on to handle the ball in pressure situations.
