Enes Kanter C/PF
19 years old,Freshman
2011 stats: Was declared ineligible for 2010-11 college basketball season by NCAA because he reportedly received 33,000 dollars in excess benefits while playing ball for a Turkish pro team.
Prediction: Top 5 pick
Strengths: Has legit center size and strength. His offensive game is multifaceted, he has an array of moves in the post and he has range on his jumpshot out to the college three point line. Has very good feet and hands. Catches just about everything. Scored a record 34 points and grabbed 13 rebounds at the 2010 Nike Hoops Summit playing against talented American high school stars such as Jared Sullinger, Harrison Barnes,Terrance Jones and Patric Young. Showed up at the NBA Draft Combine in very good shape for a man his size(only 5.9% body fat at 259lbs). Shows the ability to make the pass out of the double team and rebounds his position as he should for a man his size.
Weaknesses: Hasn’t played a season of competitive basketball since 2009-10 because he was ineligible to play at Kentucky this past season. I would have liked to see him play against top american college competition this season.
