Darius Morris PG
20 years old, Sophomore
2011 stats: 35 games, 15.0 ppg, 6.7 apg, 4.0 rpg, 49% FG, 25% 3pt FG
Prediction: Late first round to early 2nd
Strengths: Has great size for a lead guard. Uses his size and strength to get in the lane and set others up, while having the ability to shield off defenders and hit floaters in the lane. His improvement from his freshman to sophomore season was excellent, he came in as a highly touted player and people doubted his talent. He showed the talent and ability scouts seen during high school. Led the Big Ten in assists this past season.
Weaknesses: Not very quick or explosive. Lacks any offensive game outside of the lane. Needs to work on his jump shot period. His lack of foot speed makes him a constant liability on offense. Averaged almost three turnovers a game.
