Tyler Honeycutt SF/SG
20 years old, Sophomore
2011 stats: 12.8 ppg, 7.2 rpg, 2.8 apg, 2.1 rpg, 40% FG, 36% 3pt FG
Prediction: Late first round
Strengths: Very long, quick, agile and explosive athlete. Is a very good individual defender, uses his length and footwork to stay in front of and cause havoc. Very good shot blocker for a wing player and plays passing lanes good. Scoring improved from his freshmen year, as well as his free throw percentage, and 3pt field goal percentage as well. For a player of his build he rebounds the ball pretty well.
Weaknesses: Needs to add weight and muscle to his rail thin frame. Due to his lack of strength, he has some problems finishing in traffic and after contact. I would like to see him shoot a better percentage overall from the field then 40%. Isn’t the type of player who creates his own shot.
