Chris Singleton SF/PF
21 years old, Junior
2011 stats: 28 games, 13.1 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 2.0 spg, 1.5 bpg, 43% FG, 37% 3pt FG, 66% FT
Prediction: Late Lottery-Middle of 1st round
Strengths: Is the best all around defender in the draft. At 6’9 Singleton has the versatility to guard multiple postions on the floor. He uses his length, speed and agility to hassle smaller defenders , while being big enough to guard in the post as well. Is a very good athlete who finishes well in the open court. While still raw, his offensive game has gotten better since he stepped foot on campus as a freshmen. His shooting percentages have risen in every year he played at FSU.
Weaknesses: Offensively, he really has no go to move and his face up game needs some work. Being as though he has great footwork on defense, you would think he would have great moves in the post but he doesn’t. Needs to become more consistent with his jump shot and work on his ball handling, with his athleticism he could be real effective facing up bigger players and driving to the cup.
