Celtics 113 Knicks 96
Rajon Rondo dropped a triple double(15 pts, 20 asts, and 11 rebounds), Paul Pierce scored 38 points and Ray Allen scored 32 of his own as the Boston Celtics put a beatdown on the New York Knicks, taking a 3-0 series lead. Carmelo Anthony(15 pts, 11 rebs) and Amare Stoudemire(7 pts 3 rebs) were a combined 6-24 from the field and were downright awful on the defensive end of the floor as well.
The Celtics will go for the sweep tomorrow afternoon at 3:30pm on ABC.
Hawks 88 Magic 84
Jamal Crawford scored 23 points off of the bench for the Atlanta Hawks, including a game winning clinching 3 pointer with five seconds left to giving the Hawks a 2-1 series lead. Joe Johnson dropped 23 points of his own and Josh Smith had 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. After averaging 39 points in the first two games of the series, Dwight Howard was held to 21 points and he also grabbed 15 rebounds and blocked 3 shots as well. One of the Magic’s strength’s as a team is their 3 point shooting, and last night they were held to 28.6 % from the three point line(8-28).

Lakers 100 Hornets 86
Kobe Bryant led the Lakers to it second straight victory over the Hornets, by scoring 30 points and grabbing six rebounds. Andrew Bynum(14 points, 11 rebounds) and Pau Gasol(17 points, 10 rebounds), controlled the paint for the Lakers, while the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year Lamar Odom provided punch of the bench with 13 points and 9 rebounds of his own. Chris Paul scored 22 points and dished out 8 assists, while Carl Landry scored 23 points for the Hornets.
