Despite having the best regular season record and being the so called favorite coming into the playoffs, the Cavs where sent packing last night after losing to the celtics 94-85. Kevin Garnett led the Celts with 22 points and 12 rebounds, while Rajon Rondo added 21 points and 12 assists. They will face the Orlando Magic in the conference finals, who haven’t lost a game in a month. Lebron James posted numbers of 27 points, 19 rebounds, and 10 assists, his 6th career playoff triple double, but he also had a disparaging 9 turnovers also. Mo William had 20 of his 22 points in the first half , being virtually invisible during crucial points of the game. Antawn Jamison was a no-show once again scoring 5 points and being a defensive liability against Kevin Garnett. This is the second straight season that the Cavs came in with the number one overall seed and laid an egg. I put blame heavily on Lebron and Mike Brown’s brutal coaching, but you can’t deny the fact that Mo Williams didn’t show up again in the postseason and Antawn Jamison was his a liability on defense and wasn’t much of a factor on offense. I can’t tell you if Lebron is staying or leaving, but I assure you there will be some big changes to this team.
