The Philadelphia Flyers overcame a second period injury to goalie Brian Boucher to defeat the Boston Bruins 4-0 and force a game six in the semifinals of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Boucher was injured at the bottom of a pileup in the crease early in the second period. Michael Leighton(14 saves) took his place and held the Bruins scoreless for the remainder of the game. On the offensive end, the Flyers continued to receive great production from Simon Gagne, who scored 2 goals in tonight’s game. It was the first time in Flyers team history that they forced a game six after being down 3-0 in a playoff series.
